Refund Policy

How and when you can get your money back · Effective May 24, 2026

7-Day Unconditional Withdrawal

Under Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC) Article 49, you have the unconditional right to withdraw from any purchase made remotely within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.

This applies regardless of reason- you don't need to justify the request. It also applies regardless of whether you've downloaded or installed the plugin.

To exercise this right, email contact@gxplugins.com with the subject line “Withdrawal request” and include your order ID (starts with purch_). Refund processed within 10 business days via your original payment method.

30-Day Defect Guarantee

Under CDC Articles 18-20, if a plugin presents a defect or fails to perform as described in its listing, you have 30 days from purchase to report the issue.

Our process when a defect is reported:

  1. We first attempt to fix the defect (usually within 7 days).
  2. If we cannot fix it within the 30-day window, you can choose between: replacement with an equivalent product, a proportional price reduction, or a full refund.

A “defect” means the plugin doesn't do what the listing says it does. Compatibility issues caused by your custom setup, third-party plugin conflicts that we couldn't have anticipated, or new Minecraft versions released after your purchase don't qualify as defects under this clause - but the 7-day withdrawal above still covers them.

Outside the standard windows

After both windows above expire, refunds aren't available as a general policy. We may still consider exceptional cases (e.g. plugin permanently broken by a Mojang update we can't patch) at our discretion. Contact us and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits.

What disqualifies a refund

The following situations void any refund eligibility:

  • License violations. Reselling the plugin, distributing it on cracked-plugin sites, removing the embedded license tag, or sharing it outside your own servers.
  • Chargebacks filed without contacting us first. We resolve nearly every issue when given the chance. Filing a chargeback before emailing us forfeits future refund eligibility and may result in account suspension.
  • Misrepresentation. Claiming a defect that turns out to be your server misconfiguration after we've already worked on it.

How to request a refund

  1. Find your order ID in the receipt email we sent you (format: purch_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), or in your account dashboard.
  2. Email contact@gxplugins.com with that order ID, the plugin name, and a one-line reason (helps us improve, even if your reason is just “changed my mind”).
  3. You'll get a reply within 24 hours confirming receipt and outlining next steps.
  4. Refund posts to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

Stripe-side timing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Once we issue the refund on our side, your card or bank may take an additional 5-10 business days to reflect the credit, depending on your provider. International cards sometimes take longer. We have no control over this leg of the timing.

Custom orders

Custom plugin development (orders placed via /custom-order) follows a different refund structure tied to milestone acceptance. The terms are agreed upfront in the order quote. Refer to that quote, or contact us if unsure.
